Internet Squatting

PostNorma Identity

On an undiscussed and uncommisioned basis, I have been developing the Design Identity for the ‘squat squat’ slash up and coming art space PostNorma. I’ve utilised the possibly inappropriate need for a squat identity as an opportunity to abstract and install the typical design brief. The lifestyle and apolitical status of the situation has been a stimulant for the identities counterparts, finished with a corporate yet radical nature – a ‘professional mayhem’.

Internet Squatting

For the organisations website I developed and designed the format of ‘Internet Squatting’, whereby a mask design would squat over current functioning websites. The squatting initially fluctuates between different Dutch institutional websites. It is intended as creative addition to online browsing and operates with good intention over these usable backdrops. In the future I would see the interface functionally squatting websites that coincide with events, celebrations and general ongoings. e.g the website of an artist in residency, google map locations for geographical associations, porn websites on valentines day and so on.
