In December 2014, artists Victor Delestre and Amaury Daurel opened the shop Deborah Bowmann Amsterdam. Standing in between a parody and a serious economic model of autonomy the two artists use codes of business and marketing to turn them into sculptural medium to shape and re-shape.
Since then they organized six different exhibitions in collaboration with artists and designers of different generations. In September they will open Deborah Bowmann Brussels.Grand Salon n°1 is the bi-annual retrospective of the (non) parodic gallery Deborah Bowmann Amsterdam, including past collections and events featuring Joey O’Doherty as a special guest.
