New World Dreams and the Agents of Collective Action X Macao

Following the Dirty Art Departments position of affecting applied reality as the contemporary form of ‘picking up the brick and throwing it’ (S.I. 1966) and of researching new collective positions for new forms of collective life, the project ‘New World Dreams and the Agents of Collective Action’ sets the context for the discussion, hypothesising and testing of possible courses of public activist action and the real context of Macao during the Art and Design Weeks 2020 for this action to take place.
The project is a collaboration with the assembly of Macao where discussion, decision and action will be made together. This means that potential collaborative projects/action(s) will be discussed, conceived, modified and tested through-out the year and that finally a decision of a strategy (or strategies) and an action (or actions) will be made and acted on during the Milan Art and Design weeks in April 2020.
