DAD@ WORLD CONGRESS FOR CLIMATE JUSTICE
Members of the Dirty Art Department take part in and support the Artivist Climate Subvertising Workshops at the first World Congress for Climate Justice taking place in Milan from the 12 – 15th of October 2023.
The Artivist Climate Subvertising Workshops by the Art for Radical Ecologies platform’s Assembly are hosted by Ecologia Politica Network and Ecolab.
It includes a talk by Yes Men about the Barbie Liberation Organization and the Climate Justice League workshop as a generative co-creation of eco-warrior icons for climate justice. The Climate Justice League will be present in the form of big cardboard puppets, ready to enter the streets and march around the planet.
It is impulsed by Institute of Radical Imagination aims at co-writing the Art for Radical Ecologies Manifesto. and includes the particpation of the Institute of Radical Imagination (Marco Baravalle, Emanuele Braga, Sara Buraya, Maddalena Fragnito, Gabriella Riccio, Federica Timeto), Yes Men (Mike Bonanno, Barbie Liberation Organization), Andreco, Climate Art Project, Terike Haapoja, Tiziana Terranova, Andrea Natella, Noura Tafeche, Serpica Naro, Dirty Art Department (Jerszy Seymour, Theo Dietz and Rosa Meulenbeld), Effimera (Giorgio Griziotti), and the contribution in remote by Lab of Insurrectionary Imagination (Isabelle Fremeaux & Jay Jordan) and A4C (Rosa Jijón and Francesco Martone.
