‘TransArtists is the platform stimulating and strengthening artists’ mobility in the Netherlands and internationally. We combine and share expertise, and we offer tools and services on artist-in-residence programs and related issues.

The starting point of our work is the artists’ perspective. We usually cooperate with a wide range of partners in all world regions, increasingly more in depth within European countries. Our goal is to make the enormous worldwide residential art labyrinth accessible and usable to the artists, through our website, AiR collection, research and workshop programs.
We form the TransArtists desk within DutchCulture – Center for International Cooperation, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.’
