The installation Highjacking Conformity for Poetry takes as its source elements of conformity from the office environment.The status quo is liberated by using these elements to create as series of stabiles, mobiles and fountains that seek to elude identity and allow the viewer to constantly configure their own constellation. The playful and humorous configurations are tempered by a subtle dark underbelly that belies the resistance to being free in creating one’s identity.
