here are the bleachers, Cataracts (wood, fabric, polyester foam, paint; 4x 180x150x160)
here is the box office, Tumular X.ch€ (wood, vinyl, ventilation grills, printer, battery; 70x100x160)
here is the control booth, Jockey (computer, tablet, amplifier, mixing table, webcam, microphone)
here are the technicians, Casuals (retro-reflective fabric, cotton fabric)
Human part, infernal part. A temple? As a private amphitheatre it is a platform for mirror disciplines on a sideline of a major dualism, sacrality versus leisure.
Versus.
Day after day, an audience takes part in the confrontation between two abstract entities;
unknown as Dexsit and Sinsit, two invisible party, that, both take temporarily the shape of an object, a sculpture, an opponent,.. for the time of a duel.
A temporary ceremony takes place, intense and brief, an activation,focusing on how unfollowed practices get born with their own mise-en-scène, and, using the poetical porosity of transformative medias.
Kayfabe.
The thread is imitating world wrestling entertainment protocol, the secret of the outcome is preserved and protected. The spectacle becomes a shared celebration of the lie. A box office allows you to bet on each duel:
