HÓĄRDĘR – GĄTHĘRĘR
2018, installation
in collaboration with Leon Leube
curated by Amely Deiss
at KUNSTPALAISE ERLANGEN
casted plywood, wood, Batteries, bones, braided branches, cemetery fabric, goat skulls
The installation is explores two different ways of moving through space and time — one bodily the other mechanic. Two trips were taken in order to understand this question — one a (more or less) straight walk on foot from the artist studio to the Kunstpalais in Erlangen — the other a preconfigured test drive in a Tesla model X.
A further form of research was a self organized workshop teaching the practice of tramp art as a way to resist the daily temptations of evil, by keeping your hands busy.
How can we inhabit a world alongside new emergent forms of spatial memory, when we are running on what is percieved to be ancient hardware?
In the event that reality collides with Vision can we keep on trampin?
