Culture in the Cave: Let’s Go Performissima

The cave can be considered the original place of art. What led prehistoric people to venture deep into caves to paint their walls? How not to think of Plato’s allegory of the cave? It symbolically illustrates the conditions under which humans gain access to the knowledge of the Good, in the metaphysical sense of the term, as well as the transmission of that knowledge.
“The cave” will be our allegory for the year to come! A collective experience to inspire the individual. More concretely and humbly, Culture in the Cave will take shape this year as a series of four
gatherings aimed at strengthening the collective, its social and cultural inscriptions. These gatherings will take the form of inspirational journeys and dinners, to share concerns, conviviality, and artistic experiences within the group, with the hope that one of the goals will be to offer an enlightened and satisfying sense of “we.”
